Have you ever heard anyone say things like "it's every man for himself" or "winning is everything" or "you've got to look out for number one" ? Life is very competitive. Business compete for the market; Individuals and teams compete for the championships. Family members compete for one another's time and attention. Students compete for the highest GPA. We compete, everyday. 
Competition can be a great motivator for change. However, too often, people compete not to improve, but to win. This kind of selfish competition divides friendship, families, communities, teams and business. Don't get sucked into this kind of living. Thus, put others before us, and our life will be full.
