❝FRIENDS❞

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of your mom? What about your dad? Are these things positive or negative? If its positive, have you thanked them for it? If its negative, have you reflected, forgiven them, and apologized to them?
Too many times we take our parents for granted. We often find them annoying, find them being too naggy, too over controlling our lives. But have we ever once thought that, they were the ones that gave us our life?
Sometimes, our parents do or say things that we might not like. Because of that, we might get into and argument with them. We talk back, and say things unintentionally. We stand up for what we think is right. But have you realize that even though however much we quarrel with our parents, whatever things we say to them, they always forgive us at the end of the day? That's because they love us, a lot.
Often, we as children, fail to understand why our parents do certain things. We do not put ourselves in their position or try to understand the reason behind their actions/words. Now its time for us to understand, that whatever our parents do, is because they care for us. Sometimes they lecture, nag, but that's all because they are care for us.
As parents, they seldom see us because we're in school, or out with our friends all the time, and they themselves are at work. as such, they do not know who we hang out with, what we do outside, etc. Therefore, they get worried about us.
Being parents are not easy. They have to worry about providing us with a quality life, worry about earning money and yet having the need to spend time with us, etc.
So, if we have a good relationship with our parents, we have to ensure we do not take it for granted. If we do not, its time to start working on it. We are the younger ones, we ought to take the first step in trying to nurture a good relationship. Start by talking, it helps :)

So, Father And Mother, I Love You! F.A.M.I.L.Y.
